Each of them received a packet from courier service which is of different colors viz. Magenta, Red, Blue, Orange, Yellow, Green, Violet and Pink, but not in the same order.
There are two floors between the one who received Violet colored packet and Blue colored packet. B received Violet colored packet. A lives on an odd numbered floor but above 3rd floor. Y lives just above the one who received Violet colored packet. The one who received red packet lives on odd numbered floor. There are two floors between B and W. The number of floors between the one who received Green colored packet and Y is four. The number of persons between A and the person who received yellow colored packet is same as the number of persons between A and X. The one who lives on 4th floor received blue colored packet. Z lives on an even numbered floor and received Orange colored packet. The number of floors between the one who received red colored packet and the floor on which C lives is same as the number of floors between C and D. The one who received Pink colored packet lives on lowermost floor.
