Ten persons P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X and Y live in a five-storey building such as ground floor is numbered as 1, floor above it is numbered as 2 and so on till the topmost floor is numbered as 5. Each of the floors has 2 flats in it i.e. flat-A and flat-B. Flat-A of floor-2 is immediately above flat-A of floor-1 and immediately below flat-A of floor-3 and so on. In the same way flat-B of floor-2 is immediately above flat-B of floor-1 and immediately below flat-B of floor-3 and so on. Flat-A is in west of flat-B. All the information is not necessarily in the same order.
Q doesn’t live to the east of U.X lives on an even numbered floor but not in flat B. Y lives to the west of S. S lives on an odd numbered floor but not on the topmost floor. U lives to the south of Y. W lives to the south east of U. P lives either in the same flat or on the same floor with U. The number of floors above Q is same as the number of floors below T. Q lives to the north east of R.

Q, U के पूर्व में नहीं रहता है। X एक सम संख्या वाले तल पर रहता है लेकिन फ्लैट-B में नहीं रहता है। Y, S के पश्चिम में रहता है। S, एक विषम संख्या वाले तल पर रहता है लेकिन शीर्ष तल पर नहीं रहता है। U, Y के दक्षिण में रहता है। W, U के दक्षिण पूर्व में रहता है। P, U के साथ या तो समान फ्लैट या समान तल पर रहता है। Q के ऊपर तलों की संख्या, T के नीचे तलों की संख्या के समान है। Q, R के उत्तर पूर्व में रहता है।

There are seven persons P, Q, R, S, T, U and V go to different countries i.e. Mauritius, Maldives, Switzerland, Indonesia, Thailand, Germany and Malaysia for a trip on different days of a same week. The week starts from Monday and ends on Sunday. All the information is not necessarily in the same order.
Three persons go between P and the one who goes to Thailand. P goes before the one who goes to Thailand. P doesn’t go on the first day of the week. The person who goes to Switzerland goes immediate before the one who goes to Thailand. Three persons go between the one who goes to Mauritius and the one who goes to Switzerland. V goes immediate after P. Equal number of persons go before and after the one who goes to Indonesia. Two persons go between the one who goes to Indonesia and U who goes to Germany. T goes immediate after Q and immediate before R. One person goes between the one who goes to Maldives and Q who doesn’t go to Malaysia.

सात व्यक्ति अर्थात् P, Q, R, S, T, U और V समान सप्ताह के अलग-अलग दिनों में अलग-अलग देशों अर्थात् मॉरीशस, मालदीव, स्विट्ज़रलैंड, इंडोनेशिया, थाईलैंड, जर्मनी और मलेशिया में यात्रा के लिए जाते हैं। सप्ताह सोमवार से आरंभ होता है और रविवार को समाप्त होता है। सभी जानकारी आवश्यक नहीं कि समान क्रम में हो।
P और थाईलैंड जाने वाले व्यक्ति के बीच तीन व्यक्ति जाते हैं। P, थाईलैंड जाने वाले व्यक्ति से पहले जाता है। P सप्ताह के पहले दिन नहीं जाता है। स्विट्ज़रलैंड जाने वाला व्यक्ति, थाईलैंड जाने वाले व्यक्ति के ठीक पहले जाता है। मॉरीशस और स्विट्जरलैंड जाने वाले व्यक्तियों के बीच तीन व्यक्ति जाते हैं। V, P के ठीक बाद जाता है। इंडोनेशिया जाने वाले व्यक्ति के पहले और बाद में जाने वाले व्यक्तियों की संख्या बराबर है। इंडोनेशिया जाने वाले व्यक्ति और U, जो जर्मनी जाता है, के बीच दो व्यक्ति जाते हैं। T, Q के ठीक बाद जाता है और R से ठीक पहले जाता है। मालदीव जाने वाले व्यक्ति और Q, जो मलेशिया नहीं जाता है, के बीच एक व्यक्ति जाता है ।

Set-33
Eight persons A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H sit around a rectangular table. Six of them sit at longer side of the table, three on each side and two of them sit at shorter side of the table, one on each side. Each person like different colours i.e. Blue, Green, Red, White, Black, Violet, Grey and Yellow. All face towards the centre of the table. All the information is not necessarily in the same order.
E sits second to the right of B. E likes Yellow colour. As many persons sit between G and D are same as the persons sit between H and G. E sits immediate right of G. The person who likes Red sits opposite to E and diagonally opposite to the one who likes Violet. B sits second to the right of D. A sits in middle of the longer side of the table. A is not an immediate neighbour of B. The one who sits immediate left of D likes Green colour. The one who likes Blue colour sits third to the left of G. The one who likes White sits immediate left of B who likes Violet. C sits opposite to the one who likes White colour. G doesn’t like Black colour.

आठ व्यक्ति अर्थात् A, B, C, D, E, F, G और H एक आयताकार मेज के चारों ओर बैठे हैं। उनमें से छह व्यक्ति मेज की लम्बी भुजा पर इस प्रकार बैठे हैं कि प्रत्येक भुजा तीन व्यक्ति बैठे हैं तथा दो व्यक्ति मेज की छोटी भुजा पर इस प्रकार बैठे हैं कि प्रत्येक भुजा पर एक व्यक्ति बैठा है। प्रत्येक व्यक्ति अलग अलग रंग अर्थात् नीला, हरा, लाल, सफेद, काला, बैंगनी, स्लेटी और पीला रंग पसंद करता है। सभी मेज के केंद्र की ओर उन्मुख हैं। सभी जानकारी आवश्यक नहीं कि समान क्रम में हो।
E, B के दायें से दूसरे स्थान पर बैठा है। E, पीला रंग पसंद करता है। G और D के मध्य उतने ही व्यक्ति बैठे हैं, जितने व्यक्ति H और G के मध्य बैठे हैं। E, G के ठीक दायें बैठा है। लाल रंग पसंद करने वाला व्यक्ति, E के विपरीत बैठा है और बैंगनी रंग पसंद करने वाले व्यक्ति के विकर्णतः विपरीत बैठा है। B, D के दायें से दूसरे स्थान पर बैठा है। A, मेज की लम्बी भुजा के मध्य में बैठा है। A, B का निकटतम पड़ोसी नहीं है। D के ठीक बायें बैठा व्यक्ति, हरा रंग पसंद करता है। नीला रंग पसंद करने वाला व्यक्ति, G के बायें से तीसरे स्थान पर बैठा है। सफेद रंग पसंद करने वाला व्यक्ति, B के ठीक बायें बैठा है, जो बैंगनी रंग पसंद करता है। C, सफेद रंग पसंद करने वाले व्यक्ति के विपरीत बैठा है। G, काला रंग पसंद नहीं करता है।

Set-34
Twelve persons O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y and Z live on different floors at different flats. There are four floors i.e. floor number 1, 2, 3 and 4. Floor number 4 is on the top and floor number 3 is below floor number 4 and so on. There are three flats in each floor i.e. Flat A, Flat B and Flat C. Flat A is on the west of Flat B and Flat B is on the west of Flat C. No two persons live on the same flat of same floor. All the information is not necessarily in the same order.
R lives to the east of U. Q is to the north of R but both are not adjacent to each other. No one lives above Q. Y lives to the east of Q. No one lives between S and O. S lives to the south of O. X lives to the south west of Y but lives on the floor which is above floor number 2. X doesn’t live on the same flat of U. W lives at flat B. O lives to the east of U. Z lives to the south west of V. P lives to the west of V.

बारह व्यक्ति O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y और Z, विभिन्न फ्लैट पर विभिन्न मंजिलों पर रहते हैं।
चार मंजिलें अर्थात् मंजिल संख्या 1, 2, 3 और 4 हैं। मंजिल संख्या 4, शीर्ष पर है और मंजिल संख्या 3, मंजिल संख्या 4 के नीचे हैं और आगे भी इस प्रकार व्यवस्थित हैं। प्रत्येक मंजिल में तीन फ्लैट अर्थात् फ्लैट A, फ्लैट B और फ्लैट C हैं। फ्लैट A , फ्लैट B के पश्चिम में है और फ्लैट B, फ्लैट C के पश्चिम में है। कोई भी दो व्यक्ति एक ही मंजिल के एक ही फ्लैट में नहीं रहते हैं। सभी जानकारी आवश्यक नहीं कि समान क्रम में हो।
R, U के पूर्व में रहता है। Q, R के उत्तर में रहता है लेकिन एक दूसरे के आसन्न नहीं रहते। Q से ऊपर कोई नहीं रहता है। Y, Q के पूर्व में रहता है। S और O के मध्य कोई नहीं रहता है। S, O के दक्षिण में रहता है। X, Y के दक्षिण पश्चिम में रहता है लेकिन मंजिल संख्या 2 के ऊपर किसी मंजिल पर रहता है। X, U के समान फ्लैट संख्या में नहीं रहता है। W, फ्लैट B में रहता है। O, U के पूर्व में रहता है। Z, V के दक्षिण पश्चिम में रहता है। P, V के पश्चिम में रहता है।

Set-35
Eight persons A, B, C, D, E, F. G and H sit around a circular table. Four of them face towards the centre while the remaining face outside the centre. Persons face toward the centre like fruits i.e. Banana, Guava, Apple and Grapes and the persons face outside the centre like flowers i.e. Lily, Lotus, Rose and Jasmine. All the information is not necessarily in the same order. Not more than two persons face in the same direction sit together.
The one who likes apple sits second to the right of B.C likes fruit and sit second to the left of B. The immediate neighbours of the one who likes guava, like flowers. H sits opposite to B .H does not like guava. The one who likes banana sits to the immediate right of the one who likes apple. The one who likes lily sits opposite to D who faces towards the centre. E sits second to the right of the one who likes lily. E and H are not immediate neighbors. The one who likes lotus sits opposite to H. E and G doesn’t like rose. A likes fruit.

आठ व्यक्ति A, B, C, D, E, F, G और H एक वृत्ताकार मेज के चारों ओर बैठे हैं। उनमें से चार केंद्र की ओर उन्मुख हैं जबकि शेष केंद्र से बाहर की ओर उन्मुख हैं। केंद्र की ओर उन्मुख व्यक्ति फल अर्थात् केला, अमरुद, सेब और अंगूर पसंद करते हैं तथा केंद्र से बाहर की ओर उन्मुख व्यक्ति फूल अर्थात् लिली, लोटस, रोज और जैस्मीन पसंद करते हैं। सभी जानकारी आवश्यक नहीं कि समान क्रम में हो। समान दिशा की ओर उन्मुख दो से अधिक व्यक्ति एक साथ नहीं बैठे हैं। सेब पसंद करने वाला व्यक्ति, B के दायें से दूसरे स्थान पर बैठा है। C, फल पसंद करता है और B के बायें से दूसरे स्थान पर बैठा है। अमरुद पसंद करने वाले व्यक्ति के निकटतम पड़ोसी, फूल पसंद करते हैं। H, B के विपरीत बैठा है। H, अमरुद पसंद नहीं करता है। केला पसंद करने वाला व्यक्ति, सेब पसंद करने वाले व्यक्ति के ठीक दायें बैठा है। लिली पसंद करने वाला व्यक्ति, D के विपरीत बैठा है, जो केंद्र की ओर उन्मुख है। E, लिली पसंद करने वाले व्यक्ति के दायें से दूसरे स्थान पर बैठा है। E और H निकटतम पड़ोसी नहीं है। लोटस पसंद करने वाला H के विपरीत बैठा है। E और G, रोज पसंद नहीं करते हैं। A, फल पसंद करता है।
