Number of students from the faculty of Arts from college C=45000
Number of students from the faculty of Science from college C=30000
Total number of students from the faculty of Arts and Science from college C
=45000+30000=75000
Number of students from the faculty of Commerce from college A=35000
Number of students from the faculty of Science from college A=40000
Total number of students from the faculty of Arts and Science from college A
=45000+30000=75000
Difference=75000-75000=0

 

2. The total number of students studying from college B (all faculties) is approximately what percent of the total number of students studying from college D (all faculties)?

% of boys in AMU = 22.5% and that of in RGPV = 40%
Number of girls in AMU = 77.5% of 1600 = 1240
And RGPV together = 60% of 1500 = 900
Required ratio = 1240:900 = 62:45

 

7. What is the total number of girls in SCOPE and RKDF together?

Ans:2
% of boys in SCOPE = 32%
Total number of girls in SCOPE = 68% * 1300 = 884
% of boys in RKDF= 40%
Total number of girls in RKDF = 2025 * 60% = 1215
Required answer = 884 + 1215 = 2099

 

8. Total number of students in AMU, is approximately what per cent of the total number of students in RKDF?

Ans:1
Total number of students in AMU = 1600
Total number of students in RKDF = 2025
Required % = (1600/2025)*100 = 79%

 

9. What is the respective ratio of the number of boys in SCOPE to the number of boys in RKDF?

Ans:4
Required ratio = 32% of 1300: 40% of 2025
= 208:405

 

10. What is the average number of boys in RGPV and SCOPE?

Ans:4
Required average = (40% of 1500 + 32% of 1300) * 1/2
= (600 + 416) * ½ = 1016/2 = 508
