Now to find the mean speed of Pillu and Chillu

⇒ (The speed of Pillu + the speed of Chillu)/2

⇒ (45 + 63)/2 = 108/2 = 54 km/hr

∴ The average speed of Pillu and Chillu is 54 km/hr
